Debugging Course for Web Developers
Over the last ten years, I've worked with hundreds of beginning developers, and some of the most rewarding experiences have been helping them fix their projects so their code works the way they expected.
While I've taught web and mobile application development, students often struggle with debugging code. They ask for resources they can use to learn more, and I've never been able to come up with one place they can go look for answers.
This class is the class that I would have wanted to point them to - it's a comprehensive guide to debugging web applications, and along the way, you'll learn how to use the tools that professional developers use to find and fix bugs in their code.
What you will learn in the class
This course will cover the following topics:
- Console Logging
- Breakpoints and Code Execution
- Call Stacks
- Error Handling
- JavaScript Source Maps
- Network Requests
Who this class is for
This is a great course if you've taken some web development classes and have been working on your own projects, or if you're a junior developer on a team developing web applications.
This is not the class for you if you are completely brand new to programming and web development - you should understand the basics of JavaScript and web application development before starting this class.
Launching in April 2024
